My story

Hello everyone!

My name is Julia Sohl. I am a linen fan, business owner, textile designer, and linen craftswoman.

I came to the USA from Ukraine in 2016. I changed everything - language, culture, and my dream. It was a real challenge, but I enjoy my "second" life a lot. 

In August 2018 I started a linen business and founded Old World Linen. 

 

I put my heart in my work, making linen bedding from high quality 100% Flax using old-world sewing skills and the old method for softness without any chemicals for the healthy sleeping. I want to keep  Eastern Europe house-holding linen tradition and show people how beautiful and useful natural linen bedding can be.
